Family Leader & Entrepeneur
Thank you for learning more about my candidacy. I am running for City Council District 4 to listen to your issues of importance and address the concerns for our city. I will use my entrepreneurial experience employing over 230 community members through seven businesses to change the course of our city council. We should have a council majority that encourages job creation to reduce poverty in our city. Knoxville currently faces high poverty rates and high crime, including a record murder rate. Our community needs to get serious about solving these problems. With your input and my experience, I plan to do exactly that.
Knoxville is a city I have called home for over 48 years. It is where my wife and I have celebrated over 35 years of marriage, where we have raised our three children, and are members of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church. We are now proud grandparents to five grandchildren.
I am a graduate of Knox County schools and am a proud alumnus of the University of Tennessee Knoxville, having graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on art, architecture, and interior design.
I value serving my community. I dedicate time to empower young adults through life coaching in entrepreneurial concepts and financial planning, I have volunteered for local homeless missions, and I currently serve on Knoxville Mayor’s Business Advisory Council.
Through my design, architecture, entrepreneurial background, I refurbish and revitalize existing urban and historic commercial buildings. My wife and I also invest in renovating and preserving historic homes in our community.
